Brian Forrest was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a dual citizen: American/Canadian. He attended the University of British Columbia to study theatre, film, and radio.After university, he began working as a deejay for Vancouver and Seattle radio stations. While on a visit to Los Angeles, he was selected to join the Columbia Pictures Talent Program where he received training in acting for film. He graduated the program in the winter of 1978. Since then, he has studied with MGM acting coach Vincent Chase, Broadway Casting Director Michael Shurtleff, and performed in television shows, independent film, and theatre. He returned to his home, Bellevue, WA, in 2000 to study digital media design at Bellevue College, where he received degrees in Web Multimedia Authoring and Digital Video Production. He continues to pursue his passion for the arts as an actor, artist/painter, and multimedia designer. Currenty he studies painting and color theory with Emmett P. McLaughlin.
